Wood Dome - 82ft diameter - Sudbury, Ontario

Golder

This Wood Dome is located in Sudbury, Ontario west of North Bay at the Totten Mine Site. This Wood Dome is 82’ in diameter with a capacity of 2,220 tonnes of sand. This Wood Dome has a 20’x18’ entrance and a canopy roof. This Wood Dome was part of a large project by Golder Associates and was erected around and over a tower that was going to be used at the mine site. Like all of our Wood Domes, it is made entirely of non corrosive materials (concrete, wood and asphalt shingles) and is built on a unique floating ring foundation (cast in place concrete).
