This Rectangular Salt/Sand Storage Building is also known as a Conventional Salt/Sand Storage Building. This particular Conventional Salt/Sand Storage Building is unique in it's own way. What makes this Conventional Salt/Sand Storage Building unique, is there is no wall in the front. It is open 60' wide in the front. This Conventional Salt/Sand Storage Building is located north of Thunder Bay, Ontario at the Pickle Lake Patrol Yard. This Conventional Salt/Sand Storage Building is 60’x80’ in size with no front wall. The foundation is 8’-0" high above grade with 36’ minimum clearance from finished floor to bottom of truss, one 60' wide opening and two 48” louvers located at the back. The interior of this Conventional Salt/Sand Storage Building is finished 1/2" PT plywood from top of foundation to knee brace. The remaining interior is covered with 7/16" OSB while the exterior is finished with 26 GA siding and 26 GA roofing in Tan with trimming in white.
