This Rectangular Salt/Sand Storage Building is also known as a Conventional Salt/Sand Storage Building. This Conventional Salt/Sand Storage Building is located in Pickering, Ontario on the south east corner of Brock Road and HWY 401 at the Brock Road Patrol Yard. This Conventional Salt/Sand Storage Building is 80’x125’ in size with a 13’-2" foundation wall above grade, 36’ minimum clearance from finished floor to bottom of truss without knee braces, two 21’x32’ angled entrance opening and two 24” exhaust fans. The interior of this Conventional Salt/Sand Storage Building is finished with ½” plywood while the exterior is finished with 26 GA siding in Regent Grey and 26 GA roofing in Metro Brown with triming in white. Behind the Conventional Building there is a Barn Swallow Shelter. This shelter replaces all the nest that were in the dome.
